“I’m diligent when it comes to skincare and I maintain a really good daily regime. However, every now and again I like to mix things up by introducing a short-term skin booster or treatment product.
Like everyone else, I go through patches where my skin is tired, dull and stressed. This tends to happen when the seasons change, when I’m stressed and when I’m burning the midnight oil. Going into the month of May, I was starting to notice seasonal changes taking their toll on my complexion, and with a busy month lined up, stress and long hours quickly showed up on my face.
While my skin didn’t look terrible to begin with, it lacked radiance and you could see I was tired without even having to ask (it showed on my skin!). I decided to give Filorga NCEF-Shot a go, and embarked on a ten-day skincare journey. The product was really easy to include in my existing regime. All I did was replace my morning and evening serums with NCEF-Shot. I used my regular cleanser, moisturiser and eye care products so there was no additional ‘newness’ in my routine.
I applied the serum twice a day after cleansing and allowed it to absorb for a couple of minutes before applying my moisturiser. Application is super simple thanks to the handy pipette – it has a line that indicates how much product to use per application. I warmed the serum in my hands and then gently massaged it into my face, neck and décolleté.
I was surprised at how quickly it absorbs. It has a runny texture that spreads easily and feels lovely when massaged into the skin.
For the first couple of days I didn’t see a noticeable difference in my skin, but this changed on around day 5. I noticed that I didn’t look that tired any more. My skin looked brighter and there was a hint of radiance peeking through. By day 7 or 8, I could see a big difference in my skin’s luminosity (it looked glowy like I’d gone for a peel), it was smooth, clear and looked healthy. By the end of the 10-day treatment my skin looked great – it was brighter and happier than it’s been in ages. Imagine how impressed I was when the fine lines on my forehead and around my eyes even seemed less noticeable!
