A celebration of colour (and curlers)

David Tlale presented his Resort Collection at the MBFWCT 2012 on a glorious sunny Saturday afternoon. With Table Mountain and the colourful houses of Bo-Kaap as the backdrop, Tlale once again wowed the audience with his creativity and elaborate designs – right there, in the road. BeautySouthAfrica was there for a different reason… to check out the make-up the models adorned as they walked the runway, uh, street.

David Tlale - A celebration of colour (and curlers)

With beautiful white creations using lace and intricate designs, the make-up was bold and quite avant-garde. And who said it was okay to walk the streets with curlers in your hair? Well, Tlale certainly did. White exaggerated eyebrows, false eyelashes, and pops of colour on their eyes complimented the rollers in the models hair and shoes on their feet. Their nails also had bright shades of yellows and pinks. It was indeed an afternoon of great fashion.
