New kid on the BB block

New kid on the BB blockImagine a tinted moisturiser on steroids! Yip, just that! It’s BB Cream reinvented, says Bobbi Brown. Defined as Blemish Balm or Beauty Balm, it will become your new best friend.

This Beauty Balm is a moisturiser, has an SPF35, treats the skin, offers coverage and leaves the skin looking natural and flawless. It helps reduce fine lines and if you’re prone to reddening like me, it reduces the appearance with just one layer.

Bobbi thought of every complexion, and has launched the BB Cream in five different skin shades, varying from very fair to very deep. The great thing about this product is that it is buildable and creates a perfect canvas for the rest of your make-up.

When it comes to applying your BB Cream, it’s really so quick and easy. Apply using your fingertips for lightweight coverage or if you prefer, use a foundation brush to create buildable coverage.

This is what you will find in your tube of BB Cream:

Scutellaria Extract: Helps reduce the appearance of discolourations and dark spots for a brighter, more even tone.

Argireline®: A natural peptide that helps boost your natural collagen production. This minimises the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Caffeine and Sucrose: These are my favourite ingredients, as they save me. They help prevent redness associated with irritation and or blemishes.

Vitamin E and Rice Bran Extract: Helps protect the skin from free radical damage.

SPF35: To me this is one of the most important anti-ageing ingredients. It helps provide you with a broad spectrum of UVA/UVB protection.

Sodium Hyaluronate: This is where your skin gets its moisture from – it helps attract moisture to your skin.

Emollients: This is what helps give the skin that luminous look and long-term moisture.

Light reflective pearls: Bye-bye dull skin! This ingredient instantly brightens your skin.

Available at selected Edgars and Stuttafords stores at a suggested retail price of R415. On counter 13 August 2012.
