‘When the new Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Gel Shadow landed on my desk a few weeks ago, the 24-hour claim intrigued me. I love a good challenge. That was until I realised I had to test the Endless Purple shade… for 24 hours! So, there I found myself one Saturday morning, 9am, walking through P’nP, rocking purple eye shadow. Luckily I only received one confused look from a security guard. I think everyone else just assumed I hadn’t washed my make-up off from the night before.
‘When after 12 hours the eye shadow still appeared 80% as fresh as when I’d applied it that morning, I was impressed. Sure some of it had dissolved into my skin, but I had just been wearing it for 12 HOURS. By 9pm I was so bored of only wearing one colour that I blended it with the Timeless Black cream shadow. Maybelline’s Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Gel Shadow has a striking colour upon first application, but it also blends really well into a smoky eye. If you’re going to be blending it though, it’s best done when still “fresh” as the colour tends to “set” in anticipation of those 24 hours pretty soon after application. Also, make sure you’ve got a pretty good eye make-up remover handy. Wipes will remove some of the cream shadow, but not all of it.’

My friend bought this and I just had to try it. Very nice colours. Blends on fine and make up is great all night althou I danced it stayed put. Not expencive so I would definatly go buy myself one.

I did a golden smokey look for my blog using the gold color tattoo gel as a base color and it allowed the colors I used to build stick to the eye lid so well as well as letting the colors pop on the pics the end result I was super pleased with. This is definitely a product I would recommend.

every window needs to be decorated especially if its highly visible .. so your eyes need to look and this does it, last longer than most..

I’ve always wanted to try out a cream based eye shadow. The Maybeline 24hr Colour Tattoo is nice and creamy and goes on very easy. I am not into wild colours and got the Permanent Taupe one which can be worn day and night. Overall these are very nice and affordable, but don’t think they last 24hrs.

the colors look great and general reviews are great… am planning to get soon and would test its 24 hour claim because I am one for who the lipsticks, lipglosses, nail enamenls don’t last long :)

this looks like a great product, hope it lives up to its code and lasts long. I just hope its not like a oily base….. but I will definitely try it because eye-shadow does not last as long as we would like it to and maybe this is my answer!
