Review: Jockey’s Autumn/Winter ‘25 collection

What comes to mind when you think “Jockey”? For us, the brand name is synonymous with quality and longevity. Did you know that they’ve been around since 1876?

Jockey was established by Samuel T. Cooper, who set out to revolutionise the hosiery and sock market. He eventually did so in 1934, when he invented the first men’s brief, forever changing the underwear landscape.

Fast forward almost 100 years, and Jockey is a trusted leader in the underwear, shapewear and sleepwear markets. Known for producing comfortable and flattering garments that fit well, Jockey uses quality fabrics that last.

There’s something undeniably empowering about underwear that fits just right; pieces that move with you, flatter effortlessly, and deliver all-day confidence. Jockey’s latest Autumn/Winter ’25 collection is all about that feeling.

We had the privilege of trying three women’s products from the collection:

“I’ve worn Jockey underwear on and off for most of my life, and was impressed when I realised just how far the brand had come. Of course, they’ve always been known for quality and timeless designs, but in recent years, they’ve also made waves with new innovations, such as the popular Seamless Shapewear collection for women.

No matter what kind of underwear you prefer, I think we can all agree that fit and comfort are key. There is nothing quite as uncomfortable as ill-fitting undies! Jockey has mastered the art of creating underwear that prioritises comfort and durability.

Their latest collection, Autumn/Winter ’25, reintroduces the much-loved seamless range (known for its second-skin feel) and introduces the tonal G-string. There’s an expansion of prints and colours in the men’s range, and newly-launched boxer shorts for women (yay!).

I was lucky enough to receive a pair of Ladies Woven Boxers, a Seamfree Back Smoothing Bralette and a Skimmies Slipshort.

Let’s start with the boxers. These were an instant hit and have become my favourite sleep shorts. They are so light and comfy, and they have a snug yet flexible fit. I love the cute branded buttons and mock fly front detail, plus, the stripe design is so pretty.

They’re perfectly paired with a t-shirt or tank top, and I can vouch for their comfort. They’re comfortable enough to sleep in, and pretty enough to lounge in. The fabric feels luxurious, and the waistband fits just right – not too loose, and not too snug. I think I need one in every colour!

I also received a Seamfree Back Smoothing Bralette, which is crafted from a soft, stretchy fabric and has sewn-in, moulded cups to enhance your natural shape. It has high sides and a high back to smooth your body for a sleek look under your clothes.

I love how comfy the straps are; there’s no digging into my skin, and the pullover style makes it super easy to put on and take off. In all honesty, this bralette is a lot more comfortable than any bra in my cupboard! It’s perfect for everyday wear, but I particularly enjoy wearing mine under a tank top for the gym. It’s so comfortable and allows for easy movement without having to readjust it during your workout.

It doesn’t have a wire, which adds to its comfort, and the padding is a welcome bonus to enhance shape.

Last but not least, I tried the Skimmies Slipshort, which is made from a lightweight, silky-soft microfiber fabric. The point of these is to make whatever you’re wearing fit better, so that you look and feel sleeker, smoother and more comfortable.

It’s perfect to wear under a figure-hugging dress or fitted trousers, as it has a seamless design to ensure your panty lines aren’t visible (plus, the wide waist and leg bands help keep everything where you want it). These are a real confidence booster; it’s the item I didn’t realise I was missing from my wardrobe until I had it.

You’d think these would be tight or uncomfortable, but they are incredible. Like a second skin, they fit like a glove without being too tight or constricting. They also help prevent chafing – bonus!

All in all, I’ve been so happy and impressed with my Jockey items. The Autumn/Winter ’25 collection remains true to the brand’s reputation for excellence and durability.

My items have retained their shape and colour after numerous washes, so I suspect they’ll look fantastic for some time to come. You can feel the quality in the fabric… I cannot wait to see what they do next.”
