“The President Hotel is such a gorgeous establishment, and I was thrilled when I heard that their spa had undergone a revamp. Cove Wellness Spa is tranquil, serene and luxurious. From the moment you enter, you feel like you’ve left the bustling city and stepped into a peaceful retreat where you can relax and forget about the stresses of the day.
My colleague and I were treated to the Atlantic Ocean Fusion full-body massage, an hour-long treatment that combines elements of Swedish massage with deep tissue techniques to revitalise muscles from head to toe. The therapists apply medium to firm pressure while targeting specific areas of concern, which results in the release of muscle tension and total relaxation.
The treatment was incredibly relaxing and effective in releasing built-up tension. My therapist worked everywhere, from my head to my feet (she paid extra attention to my back and shoulders as per my request). The highlight for me had to be the scalp massage (my favourite thing!) as well as when she worked on my tired hands and feet. By the time the treatment was over I felt like I could float out of the spa, I was so relaxed and my body felt fantastic. I’d recommend this treatment to anyone who is feeling the effects of muscle tension.
I love the attention to detail and extra effort that the therapists put in. We filled out forms with our medical details and preferences upon arrival, and were treated to delicious camomile tea and date balls before it was time to go in.
The staff even go as far as to ask what type of music you’d like them to play during your treatment. We selected Ocean Waves and it created the most wonderful ambience – it literally felt like we were being massaged on the beach!
I was impressed to learn that Cove Wellness Spa is committed to using organic, locally-sourced products and that they incorporate sustainability and eco-friendliness into everything they do. Plus, it was lovely to see that they stock Healing Earth products – one of my favourite spa brands!
I’d like to extend a very big thank you to the lovely staff at Cove Wellness Spa for hosting us and for going the extra mile to make us feel pampered and relaxed. I will definitely be back.”
