Eye looks for your fringe

Because they draw so much attention to your eyes, BellaSugar shows you how to play up your fringe with these great eye make-up looks.

Bangs are an excellent outlet for experimenting with whole new make-up looks. Because this style draws attention to your eyes, a fringe makes for a stunning pairing with bolder, more daring palettes. Fuel your bang benefits with three sweet looks.

Eye looks for your fringe

1. Smoky eyes are bangs’ best friends, as demonstrated by Lea Michele. Brow-skimming fringe plays up a dramatic eye shadow look, so grab a palette with some shimmery, metallic hues.

2. For a more all-around make-up look, take a page from Bella Heathcote’s book. Start with a subtle smoky eye that utilizes neutral colors. Skip the eyeliner, but use a lengthening mascara to frame your eyes. Then, choose a lip tint to add a pop of colour. This way, your fringe will complement your soft eye make-up, but the bright pop of colour on your lips will round out your overall look.

3. If you’re more liner happy, make like Nicole Richie and trace your eyes in a heavy black. Finish off with neutral lipstick and blush for a modern-meets-retro vibe.

Who knew that bangs and make-up made such a beautiful team?

  1. I cut bangs for myself a few years back and I LOVED what I could do with my eyes. I have very straight, very dark hair and I did a very heavy bang. I rarely left the house sans my smokey eye in blues and purples!

  2. Wow, these stars look amazing with fringes – the wonders of having a professional stylist at your beck and call. Lucky. :)

  3. I love a feathered fringe – looks so effortless and beautiful – my hair is very fine and limp so a fringe looks terrible on me, especially because my hair tends to want to do its own thing. Loved this article.

  4. I’m not a fringe person, I really don’t think it suits me, love it on others but then again you have to have the right shape face to pull it off otherwise it looks horrible
