Five firming body creams for summer

Firming-Body-creams

There’s been a fair share of controversy around firming products and what their capabilities really are… So before we start, let’s just get one thing clear: there is no cosmetic product on the market that can make cellulite and flabbiness magically disappear.

What there is, however, is a variety of products that can assist in minimising the appearance of cellulite and help firm the skin, if, and only if, they are used religiously in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise regime.

The majority of them contain active ingredients that smoothes the skin and helps firm it, so it appears tighter and healthier. You won’t see a difference straight away, but with daily use, most women report a noticeable difference after a couple of weeks. If you toss the ciggies, exercise 30 minutes per day and have your 6 – 8 servings of veggies, you’ll make your firming body cream’s life a lot easier!

Here, five firming body products we recommend:

  • And the price tags are crazy…

  • Pseudo_kate

I’d also include a 5 minute foam roll everyday for the thigh and bum area to help with the appearance of the skin.

  • I’ve tried Avon’s firming body products and they are AWESOME!

  • A review on each would be nice, seeing as most are so expensive.

  • Sashnee Rambaly

I have never tried a firming product before and always wondered about them. But after reading this, I may jus try it out

  • Mark Parr

Wow, these are pricey, I fancy Babor.

  • NaturalDiva

I’m glad you made the statement that nothing will take away cellulite. I think as women we look for creams and potions to take away all the parts of our bodies that we are unhappy with, but that is unrealistic.

  • Some of these are a bit expensive, do they really work?
