Revlon Colorsilk Buttercream ingredients and their benefits

If you love rich and vibrant hair colour, you’ll love the new Revlon Luxurious ColorSilk Buttercream Hair Colours. The perfect fusion of nature and science, this is the first permanent hair colour with buttercream technology that’s free of ammonia. Why the new formula, you might ask? So you can have hair that’s vibrant, shiny, radiant and manageable!

ColorSilk Buttercream contains a Triple Butter Complex with added vitamins and antioxidants. These help to deliver the colour to your hair more effectively, and enhance shine and conditioning.

So which butters did Revlon choose for intense moisturisation, manageability and smoothness without any greasy residue?

Mango butter for protection and nourishment;

Shea butter for hydration and shine;

Coconut butter for its conditioning properties and shine.

This blend of nourishing butters is found in both the colour and the conditioner, but the list of healthy ingredients doesn’t end there. Polymers were added so that women can enjoy uniform colour from their roots to their tips – no over-depositing thanks to this clever ingredient! Plus, a patented UV absorber protects your hair colour from environmental stress, which in turn protects it from fading.

If you want 100% grey coverage, even and uniform (plus, don’t forget vibrant) colour and soft and healthy hair, this is the hair dye you should try. Available in ten gorgeous shades from light blonde, to browns, reds and black, this product is suitable for all hair colours, types and textures.

  1. I have used the normal Revlon and love the colour! I also love that my hair, which is frizzy, is never hard or unmanageable and the colour is great.

  2. This is definitely a better product than the Colorsilk that they had previously. The manageability and softness are unbelievable.

  3. I have always wanted to dye my hair but I’m afraid of the harsh chemicals and the damages it will bring with it. This product sounds amazing.

    1. Hi Stacey, there is indeed. It is number 12BB & it is appropriately called Blue Black.

  4. Wow, I have been wanting to dye my hair but I’m so scared of damaging my natural hair, I use shea butter & cocoa butter on my hair so this is exciting. I need to get a box :)
