Hair clips

Available in all shapes and sizes (bling or no bling), all you need is to make sure you have enough hair for the clip to hold on to. If you’re getting ready for a glamorous evening function, add a faux crystal clip to stand out from the crowd.

Headbands/Alice bands

These are amongst the easiest and most popular of accessories when it comes to doing up your hair. They are simple and add an instant change to your look. Wear them to invoke your inner Greek goddess look by letting them rest on your forehead instead of directly on top of your hair. Flowers

To create something more romantic, add a rose or any other kind of flower to your hair. Flowers look gorgeous with soft waves – add one to the side of your bun for some Spanish inspiration. Taylor Swift was bang on trend when she rocked a flower in her bun to the 41st Annual Songwriters Hall of Fame ceremony.

Rocking fascinators is not exclusive to the royal family. But they aren’t for the faint hearted though. They’re rather large and can make a statement by adding them to any dull outfit, just ask Kate Middleton or Sarah Jessica Parker.
