Packaged in a gorgeous, sleek gold and silver compact with a mirror and sponge tip applicator, each shadow has the iconic Elizabeth Arden Red Door embossed on the front for a sophisticated look and feel. When applied, the shadows are buildable and provide strong colour excellent pigmentation. I used an eye shadow primer before applying the above shades to my lids, crease and brow bone and was impressed with their extended wear. The colours are gorgeous and so luxurious! The quality of these shadows is so luxurious it helps to justify their price.

The Elizabeth Arden duo set came in a palette called Precious Metals and the two colours complemented each other perfectly. They are both such gorgeous shades of brown and when I put it on, it feels velvety and smooth. The eye shadow does not flake and stays on the entire day and I like the fact that it is not an intense colour too. I really like the packaging of the eye shadow as well – the case has the distinctive Elizabeth Arden Red Door logo and has a mirror finish, which makes it look quite expensive and polished. It has a mirror inside and is very chic. It’s perfect for grabbing when in a rush or it could just stay in your handbag as it is quite compact. It definitely did wow my friends when they saw it.

I absolutely LOVE the packaging and look of the product! It shouts QUALITY! Because of the price I have never tried Elizabeth Arden’s eye shadows before, it is a little too pricey for me. But I was able to achieve a great evening smoky eye with the Black Tie duo and it lasted all night! :D I will definitely be buying this again in the future and I will recommend this to anyone. Great quality product!
