What we say:
When Andrew Barton launched in SA in late 2020 I was completely unfamiliar with the brand, but I was excited to give the S.O.S. range a try, as my hair was tired and dry. I tried the S.O.S. Repair Shampoo, Conditioner and Miracle Hair Oil.

First impressions: I love the packaging! The pink and black looks sleek and sophisticated and I love that the shampoo and conditioner tubes look completely different (the bane of my existence is an identical-looking shampoo and conditioner that I get mixed up in the shower when I’m not wearing my contact lenses).

Secondly, all three products have the most divine scent. And not only do they smell fantastic while you’re using them, but the scent lingers on your hair in between washes too (bonus!).

Lastly – and the real reason I love this trio – the products deliver. They promise to moisturise, hydrate, add shine and increase manageability, and they really do! I have long hair that tends to get dry around the ends and after using the range consistently for a couple of weeks my hair was noticeably softer and hydrated. The three-step routine is simple and I love the “no fuss” approach: I shampoo and condition as normal, and then I add a few drops of the oil to my damp hair and leave it in until the next wash.

I love that the range is affordable and easily accessible via Clicks stores. This is a real winner for me!
