What they say:
This Pre-Shampoo Purifying Mask provides a true hair “reset” by absorbing and eliminating pollution and impurities from the scalp and hair. Soothes sensations of discomfort. The fresh scent with an active core of natural origin adds a sensorial moment. Its lightweight texture provides an immediate sensation of freshness. Gentle texture works well with sensitive scalps by acting like blotting paper to absorb impurities and deposits.

What we say:
“Have you ever thought you didn’t need a product, only to try it, fall in love with it, and then wonder how you ever survived without it? This Pre-shampoo Mask from Sisley is one of those products for me. My hair tends to behave itself most of the time and as a result my hair care routine is pretty simple – shampoo and conditioner every two days, and a hair mask once a week. Lately, however, I’ve noticed a change in my hair. While it’s usually very shiny after a shampoo, it’s been rather lacklustre lately. In fact, it’s been looking downright dull, even when it’s clean, and I’ve been unable to stretch the time between my shampoos because my roots look extremely oily by the end of day 2.

I put it down to product build-up, so I started doing a double shampoo like the salons do. While it improved the condition a little, it didn’t have the full effect I was hoping for. A few weeks later, I remembered that I had yet to try the pre-shampoo mask from Sisley. The instructions were simple, so I gave it a go. All you have to do is apply it section-by-section to dry hair, massage into your scalp and hair and wait ten minutes before rinsing it off and following with your regular shampoo and conditioner. I really liked the texture; the formula feels gentle and lightweight and it has a lovely fresh scent.

The results were both immediate and long-lasting: straight after I finished blow-drying my hair I could see the shine was back, so much so, that it looked like I’d applied a shine-enhancing product. My hair felt softer and smoother. And perhaps the best of all – it looked cleaner for longer. I was able to comfortably stretch my next shampoo from two days to three days (something I would never do!). It really delivered on its promise of removing impurities and deposits, and for me, this worked better at removing build-up than any clarifying shampoo I have ever used.

Suddenly, the product I thought I didn’t need, became a product I am now dependent on – and absolutely love! I’ve been using it religiously once a week and I can honestly say that it is worth its weight in gold.”
