Yes, your hair does affect your mood

According to a recent survey, 80% of women agreed that their hair affects their mood.

Dove conducted a survey that confirmed what we already know, that our hair and our self are intertwined.

When the female survey respondents were asked to share one word that described how they feel about their hair, 30% used the words ‘identity/personality’, 40% said ‘challenging’ and 30% said ‘confidence’.

It seems that while our hair is very important to us, we are constantly searching for products to take care of it. 50% of the women surveyed said they changed their hair products every three months. Loyalty for what?

Do you agree with the survey?

  1. When I had pink hair, I felt amazing, especially when it turned to that candy floss pink, but like everything else in life, that too had an expiry date when my hair started growing like crazy. I assume it was something in the dye… either way, I’m back to natural blonde now, and love any day I don’t have flat hair <3

  2. Great looking hair – great day. I have long hair and I hate it when its not looking good because it clearly noticeable. I find Tresemme “Renew” is the answer to great looking hair, it actually restores your hair and it makes it look so healthy and shiny.

  6. I agree that hair affects my mood. It affects my confidence too because if my hair is looking good then I feel good too. If I have very visible split ends then I’m quite self-conscious about that. I am loyal to my type of shampoo though, as Head & Shoulders seems to be the only product that can keep dandruff in check!
