If you love a natural shade on your nails, then Bio Sculpture’s Colour Builder Gel Collection may be the perfect match for you.
A unique product with a revolutionary formula, Colour Builder Gel unites exceptional strength, colour and application efficiency in an easy soak-off formula.
Designed for effortless application, each shade in the range enhances the beauty of the natural nail with a natural-looking finish. But this range offers so much more than just a pretty nail colour.
Colour Builder Gel contains a strength-boosting invisible fibre designed to strengthen nails and support structure. The formula builds a supportive upper arch to protect your natural nail while maintaining a thin, natural-looking finish – no need to worry about bulky or thick application! Colour Builder Gel acts as a durable overlay that encourages nail growth so that you can enjoy longer, healthier nails without the need for bulky traditional extensions.
There are currently 14 shades available, and each one is buildable, allowing you to customise colour intensity and strength.
The four new shades that were recently introduced to the collection are:
Ballet: A sheer pink offering a clean, fresh finish.
Peony: A natural pink with delicate creamy undertones.
Petal: A warm, peach-kissed pink.
Hush: A sheer blush nude with muted beige undertones.
Our editor visited Nails by Jillian in Meadowridge, Cape Town, to experience one of the new shades:
“I’m all for bold and bright shades on my nails, but in my opinion, there is simply nothing as elegant and sophisticated as a nude, or natural-looking nail colour. It’s a look that says ‘healthy, groomed and well-kept.’
Before I discovered Bio Sculpture, I sometimes struggled to find my perfect nude. My skin is fair with a warm, yellowish undertone, which isn’t the best fit for traditional pale pinks and creams. But then my nail tech introduced me to the Colour Builder Gel collection, and suddenly I was spoilt for choice.
These natural-looking shades are unlike anything else I have come across. They range from milky white to shades of pink, peach, and beige, and there are sheer, as well as opaque options. What blows my mind is that the shades look amazing on all skin tones. Whether you have a cool or warm undertone, fair skin, medium skin, or deep skin, there is something about the way these colours are designed that makes them universally appealing.
But the colour is only one aspect. The best thing about this range is the formula. Colour Builder Gel is designed to improve the structure of your nail and strengthen it. Because nail health is at the heart of everything Bio Sculpture does, Colour Builder Gel is there to protect and improve the health of your natural nail.
I was excited to try it, and opted for shade Ballet, a beautiful soft pink that looks a lot like my natural nail colour.
The application was very similar to that of other Bio Sculpture gel products, and the process was simple and quick. The results were even better than I had envisioned, and I left with the most elegant soft pink nails I could have ever imagined.
The product has an incredibly shiny finish and feels wonderfully smooth. I was worried it might be bulky, but it is surprisingly thin and looks completely natural. After two weeks, the colour is still going strong, and my nails still look great. Plus, because I chose such a natural-looking shade, you can barely see the nail growth at my cuticles.
I’ve been on a nail journey with Bio Sculpture for a couple of months now, and in all honesty, my nails have never looked better. They are stronger and healthier than they have ever been, and my Bio Sculpture colour lasts a full three weeks in-between salon visits. Once a Bio Sculpture girl, always a Bio Sculpture girl, and I don’t think I could ever go back.” Anien – Editor
